On Saturday morning the Garrison Fire Company once again played host to the community at the annual Breakfast with Santa.
"This event was a great time and another opportunity for our members to meet the families they serve," said Company president Jamie Copeland.
"We had two seatings for breakfast and the children had ample knee time with Santa.
In our lobby, the NY State Police provided parents with an opportunity to create Operation Safe Child (a program created by Garrison resident and former NY State Governor, George Pataki).
Photo ID cards for their children that, in an emergency, can be used for positive identification," Copeland added.
After the breakfast, firefighters and Santa mounted the rescue truck to deliver presents to the St. Christopher’ s Inn and the Walter Hoving Home.
